Each team maintains a balance of ABA money with which to supplement trades, purchase players, place Rookie Bids, pay for Waiver Claims and purchase free agents in the Free Agent Draft.
An annual allotment of $300,000 is awarded to each team immediately following the Free Agent Draft. This allotment is added to the money balance left from the previous season.
Money may be added to a team's total in any of the ways described below. All of these bonuses are awarded at the end of the regular season, prior to the Rookie Draft.
