Don't Let Him Get Behind 3-1

After coming back from a 3-1 deficit to win their opening round playoff series, Tim Weidman's Texas Tornadoes again fall behind 3-1 to the West Epping Whigs (with Charlie McDonnell sitting in for Neal Matthews) and again rally to take the final 3 games to advance to the ABA World Series.

Phone Support

Mitch Caren mans the phone and manages the Mikogo software to allow absent playoff manager John Barna to play the NLCS remotely against Phil Grabar's Highwood Grays. HG took the series in 6 games to advance to the ABA World Series.

Free Agent Draft

Connected workstations were in great abundance at the Convention, allowing Mitch Caren and others to get their picks in within the 3-minute time limit. No manager exceeded the 3-minute time limit and the draft concluded in a brisk 2 hours.

Why Did You Have to Take Hundley?

After losing his backup catcher in the 5th round, Brian Hoyt scans the list of available players for another catcher.

2012 ABA World Series

Tim Weidman and Phil Grabar face off in this year's ABA World Series. It was the third time in the past 13 years that these two have met in the Series. Tim's Texas Tornadoes took 4 of 6 to win the 2012 ABA Championship!

The Runner-Up Trophy

goes to Phil Grabar

2012 ABA Champion

Tim Weidman receives the 2012 ABA Championship trophy. Congratulations Tim!

Who is Tim Spooneybarger?

Brian Hoyt reads over past Rookie Draft results. The ABA managers are amazed at the amounts of money they willingly bid on players who are amazingly forgettable.

The Most Popular Jacket in Langhorne

Jerry sports his new Phillies jacket at breakfast Sunday morning. He had mentioned how people compliment this jacket whenever he wears it. (OK, Pat actually picked it out)

Wrong Team

As if on cue, the waitress at the diner commented on Jerry's jacket. However, she hates the Phillies so she said it would be better if it had a different team on it.

Breakfast at the Diner

The nice woman at the next table (obviously impressed with the Phillies jacket) offered to take a picture of all of us. Around the horn are Mike, Moe, Brian, Phil, Charlie, Mitch, Tim and Jerry.
